Matt and Ed Bartles
CBC Metal Art
CBC Metal Art & Welding began as "Cracker Boy Customs," made up of father-son duo Matt and Ed Bartles, who nearly a decade ago started creating custom metal art together. The Clearwater-based Company produces Stainless Steel Metal Art out of marine grade Stainless Steel and airbrushes them with Kandy paint. CBC Metal Art is not like the rest because the best materials are used to create long-lasting, weather-resistant pieces. We are passionate about making custom art in addition to offering a wide selection of flags and tropical scenes. We recently finished a piece commissioned by Guy Harvey that was displayed at a showcase in Atlanta, GA.
Why we use 316L Stainless Steel
The last thing you need is your metal art rusting out on you. If your artwork is displayed inside or outside you do not want it to rust. One of the main differences is 316L stainless steel includes molybdenum elements that improve its resistance to harsh conditions and high temperatures. 316L Stainless Steel is used in more industrial applications involving processing chemicals, as well as high-saline environments such as coastal regions and outdoor areas due to its high resistance to corrosion.

That’s why we recommend you upgrade to metal art that is made with 316L stainless steel to extend the life expectancy to decades, if not longer. Consider the following on your next purchase when choosing a beautiful piece of Metal Art.

Why we use House of Kolor
This company produces high-end automotive paint which we use to airbrush our artwork. A less than stellar paint job on Koz’s 1940 Chevy Coupe inspired him to start mixing his own color with organic pigments. House of Kolor innovated a premium line of custom paint that would inspire fellow painters to be original and create colors that haven't been created before. The world recognizes this as the first custom paint brand. Artists of all kinds look to House of Kolor for its range of color capability and award-winning finish.
